What: The Mooseyard Pets app will help you track the information for your pet (names, numbers, breed, size, etc.), their providers (primary care, emergency care, specialits), their health insurance (premiums, claims, payouts), and lots of stats, most especially answering the question "is insurance paying for itself"?
Why: I've tracked the information for our animals for years. It's been very helpful to have all the data in one spot, easily accessible. Also, having insurance for them is an annual tug-of-war of do we pay for the insurance, or do we just put that premium money aside?
Proof of Concept: This is a proof-of-concept (POC) application. The POC was built and used in Airtable. The goal is to eventually have a web application that will be useful to others.
